Message	with some flexible epoxy (i.e. "bumper repair epoxy") and it MAY stop it from spreading, but no guarantees. You ought to use some sort of a reinforcement (like fiberglass mat) embedded in several layers of epoxy. In the end, however, you are going to have to "v out" and featheredge and fill the crack from the front as well, which of course, requires repainting.
